What is Kept?
Kept, is easily the most fascinating photo sharing game on the mobile market.
How does it work?
You'll want to do two things in Kept - take awesome pictures and collect awesome pictures.
Giving: You have the option of taking new shots, if you like to live in the moment, or pull up old pictures, if you prefer to live in the past. Once you have your photo selected, you can either send it in as is, or jazz it up a little with the built-in Aviary filters and effects toolkit. Once you've uploaded a pic, it sits out there in the ether, forever being judged by your peers.
Getting: The other half of the game is building up your collection of the best photos in the game. As you are presented with random photos from other players, you must first rate them on the Bad/Weak/Meh/Sweet/Great! scale. After giving a photo a rate, you have the option of of passing it or keeping it in your collection. You only have a limited number of collection spots, so eventually you'll start replacing some of your only slightly awesome shots with newer, more awesome shots.
Score and Rank: Your score, and thus your rank, are determined by a secret, proprietary, high-tech algorithm combining both the value of your shots and the value of your collection. The value of an individual photo is based on the ratings from other players.
